Wecome to Our Home

In March of 2007 we found out that we would have to leave the home we had known for almost the last 10 years previous. Needless to say the news was pretty devastating. After the initial shock and looking over several options, I decided to look into buying a home--my first one ever! Thru a lot of hard work and red tape me and the kitties moved into our lovely home the end of April. I wish I could invite you all over but we'll have to settle for a cyber meeting--so grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the tour!

This is the front of our home (oops forgot to get those weeds
out of the driveway!) You can see the carport over to the left.
And the detached garage out back! I will try to get some good
pictures of the big backyard in the spring when my flowers are
blooming!

A little better view of the long flowerbed and my dogwood tree --
wish it had been in bloom at picture time. It is a beautiful pink.

The window flowerbed with my flowering hostas and my baby
hydrangea. I had to leave my big beautiful one at the old place so
my good friend bought me a new one for the new house!

What house is complete with a kitty at the door?? My little greeter says
"My well trained owner lives here!" That is my lovely Asian lily to the
left.

Okay, come on in......................

Here is Scraps, Zena and Jordan to welcome you at the front door.
They just love their "full" view of the outside world. You can see
the hardwood floors and the edge of my antique hutch over to the
right.

This is the lovely picture that Flo got me for my birthday and I am really
sorry you can't see it in color. It has a lovely rustic wooden frame and
the color of the picture is shades of orange and tans. I think the glare had
something to do with the scanner not wanting to do the pic in color.

Had to copy this one of Zena and Scraps taking a nap together. This
was taken before the picture above went up!

Just over to the left of the hallway is the kitchen. And then the
hallway takes you to the rest of the house. I left the hardwood floors
in the living room and the hallway. As you head down the first door on
right is to the computer room, then the door to the left is the bathroom.
The last door on the right is my bedroom and across the hall is the
spare bedroom.
