Below is my earthly memorial to Bo and a physical place
where I can go to feel close to my baby.
I also wanted to incorporate on this page Bo's love for bird watching, something
that we shared together and now just isn't the same without him.
When Bo needed comforting or was sick, he was "Mommy's Boy" and I would cuddle him and tell him that I would always take care of him. In order to get Bo to come quickly from wherever he might be all I had to do was chant "Sweetie."
This is where we laid Bo's physical remains to rest. On the day Bo left we had a little service for him, my son's family and I. I got a small casket to place him in with his blanket, pillow and favorite little finger mouse and we threw rose petals down and said a few words in his memory. I planted daffodils (they are gone in this picture) and the pansies for remembrance that you see here. I feel close to Bo in this place and visit him daily as do the birds he loved so much.

Of course Bo is looking up at the birds as they feed on the seed bells above, no michief just love in his eyes.
When Bo left me on that gloomy October day, he went to a place called Rainbows Bridge. It is filled with sunshine, green meadows and lots of birds to sing to him. He is strong and healthy and with his kitty mom. I will meet him there some day.
